  • What fees do I pay now and how much do I pay on an ongoing basis?

    The fees or commissions you'll pay depend entirely on how you'd like to work with us. 
    Planning Services: If we agree that entering into a financial planning agreement makes the most sense for your situation, you'll pay a flat fee for each year we work on your plan. 
    Asset Management: If we actively manage your investment assets, you'll pay a percentage of the assets placed under our care. 
    Transactional: If you purchase an insurance product, mutual fund, or annuity, we will be paid a commission by the company whose product you have chosen to purchase. 

  • What level of professional qualifications do you have and are you qualified in any specific areas where I want advice?

    Ann holds her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and RETIREMENT INCOME CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL® designations, Series 7 and 63 registrations, and Accident & Health, Life license.

    Emily holds her CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELOR® designation, Series 7, 6, 66, 63 registrations and Accident & Health, Life license. 

    Colin holds his Series 7, 6, 66, 63, 24 registrations and Accident & Health, Life license. 

    On top of being Financial Advisors, we are also Financial Planners. We offer comprehensive services including retirement planning, college education funding, legacy planning, risk management, cash flow management, and investment planning.

  • How long has your company been in business and how big is it?

    Confidere Financial's roots trace back to 1981, when Ann Wengronowitz launched a practice with North Star Resource Group. North Star is home to over 170 advisors across the country, serving individuals and families in all 50 states. 

    Together with Emily Malecha, Colin Early, and their experienced support staff, they have over 75 years of industry experience. 

  • How often will you review my portfolio?

    We meet with clients at a minimum of 1-2 times per year. Some clients may prefer to meet more often given the complexity of their plan and investments. The choice is yours.
